Starting point
Plain concrete with visible variation
Instead of treating the slab as something that had to disappear, this direction used its natural movement and variation as part of the finished design.
Garage transformation · Stained concrete
Layered color and clear protection changed the character of this garage without hiding the concrete beneath an opaque flake floor.

Before and after

What changed
01
Starting point
Instead of treating the slab as something that had to disappear, this direction used its natural movement and variation as part of the finished design.
02
System direction
Color was layered across the prepared slab to create depth and movement. A clear protective finish preserved the stained appearance while making the floor easier to live with.
03
Finished result
The finished floor is intentionally individual. It keeps the concrete visible and offers a warmer alternative to the uniform pattern of a traditional flake system.
