Swisstrax garage flooring in Utah.

Ribtrax PRO gives Utah garages a finished modular floor without a coating cure cycle. Snowmelt, road salt, sand, and grit can move below the walking surface while the tile stays serviceable and highly configurable.

What to expect

A clean install, planned before the first tile goes down.

Swisstrax installs quickly, but the finished result still depends on the work that happens before the field is filled in. We measure, plan the layout, resolve edges and obstacles, then install and walk the finished floor with you.

  1. 01

    Assess + measure

We check the slab, drainage, thresholds, doors, cabinets, posts, and the actual dimensions of the garage.

  2. 02

    Plan the layout

We confirm the tile direction, colors, borders, transitions, cuts, and how the finished floor should meet the room.

  3. 03

    Fit + install

The field is laid out, perimeter pieces are cut to fit, transitions are finished, and obstacles are handled cleanly.

  4. 04

    Walk + return to use

We inspect the finished floor with you, explain basic care, and the garage can go back into service without a coating cure wait.

Utah winter fit

Open profile moves snowmelt, salt, sand, and grit below the walking surface.

No cure window

The garage can return to use when installation is complete.

Serviceable

Individual tiles can be lifted, replaced, or reconfigured later.

Drainage-aware

Water can move below the tile, but the slab still needs somewhere sensible for it to go.

Why Ribtrax PRO

A premium tile should earn the upgrade.

We do not recommend Swisstrax because it is the most recognizable name in modular garage flooring. We recommend it when its larger tile format, design range, transitions, accessories, documentation, and warranty support matter enough to justify the investment.

Swisstrax vs. a coating

Different systems. Different jobs.

Swisstrax is not “better epoxy.” It is a different floor architecture. That distinction is what makes it useful for the right garage.

Swisstrax Ribtrax PRO

Choose it when...

  • Winter water and road debris are a major part of garage use.
  • You want a removable floor with replaceable individual pieces.
  • You want strong pattern, border, color, and zoning flexibility.
  • You want the garage back in use immediately after installation.

Bonded flake coating

Choose it when...

  • You want a seamless surface with no tile joints or openings.
  • You want debris and spills cleaned from the top surface only.
  • You prefer the familiar full-flake garage-floor appearance.
  • The slab and project timing are a good fit for bonded coating preparation and cure.

What professional installation adds

The value is not clicking squares together.

Swisstrax can be a DIY product. A professional install earns its keep by getting the system choice, measurement, layout, cuts, transitions, obstacles, ordering, and finished edges right before the garage is full of vehicles and storage again.

Swisstrax questions

What Utah homeowners usually want to know.

Is Bella Rocca an authorized Swisstrax installer?

Yes. Bella Rocca is authorized to install Swisstrax. We can measure the garage, help plan the layout, specify transitions and accessories, order the system, and install it for the space.

Why does Swisstrax work well for Utah garages?

Ribtrax PRO uses an open-profile design that lets snowmelt, road salt, sand, and grit move below the walking surface instead of sitting around the vehicle tires and foot traffic. The slab still needs a sensible path for water, and debris below the tile still needs periodic cleaning.

Can Swisstrax go over an ugly garage slab?

Often, yes, if the slab is still serviceable. Modular tile can cover staining, patches, and cosmetic slab history without requiring a decorative coating. Significant movement, drainage problems, or failing concrete still need to be evaluated first.

How quickly can I use the garage after installation?

There is no coating cure cycle. Once the tile installation and edge details are complete, the garage can typically return to use immediately.

Is Swisstrax better than epoxy?

They solve different problems. Swisstrax is removable, serviceable, highly designable, and moves water and debris below the walking surface. A bonded flake coating creates a seamless surface that is cleaned on top. The better answer depends on the slab, winter water, appearance, maintenance preference, and budget.
