A broad deck with a tired finish

Before and after

What changed
01
Starting point
The concrete still served the space, but the faded surface made the entire pool area feel worn. The opportunity was to restore its character without replacing the deck.
02
Work in progress
The finish was worked across the field and carefully brushed around the slide, cover track, edges, and other transitions. Those details are where an outdoor project either looks intentional or unfinished.
03
Finished result
The completed deck carries warm, natural movement instead of a flat painted appearance. The darker border frames the pool and gives the whole backyard a more finished center.
