Our Story
My name is Grant Langston, and I run Bella Rocca. Bella Rocca’s first job was a 20 sq ft patio back in 2008. We’ve come a long way since then and have worked on tens of thousands of square footage since then. My background is unlike most in the industry of decorative concrete. I came to understand how to not only apply an artist’s touch to a project but also bring an understanding of the science and function of decorative concrete.
What sets Bella Rocca apart is that I know what it takes to create that beautiful look that will last long after a job is complete. We tend to over communicate because our goal is to have you be confident with what work is being done and why. With over 15 years of experience in decorative concrete, I’ve crafted processes to provide a large variety of styles and color combinations to fit any preference.
My professional background in decorative concrete:
Over 15 years working in the decorative concrete world.
Trained at the World of Concrete Convention in Las Vegas for 4 years.
Taught “Master Certified” courses to other contractors looking to “up their artistic game”.
Co-writer for a patent for a heat-reflective concrete stain.
Coached hundreds of contractors and homeowners across the world remotely to help them solve their decorative concrete concerns.
Traveled across the country for years, coaching other contractors with their problems/mistakes.
Custom matched 100’s of colors for theme parks such as Disney World, Disney Land, Six Flags, and Marine World.
National Sales Representative to hundreds of concrete supply houses across the country and helped train their sales associates.
On a personal note, I’m married with four kids. I have a bachelor’s in Communication and a Master’s in HR.
While I love my “desk job”, I also love working with my hands and using stain as an artistic medium. I enjoy playing guitar, piano, and ukulele, surfing, snowboarding, reading, and tennis. I love to bake and cook while searching out and creating mouth-watering recipes.
My second year attending the World of Concrete Convention in Las Vegas, NV our designated trainer wasn’t speaking loud enough for the crowd to hear - so I threw on a headset and started talking through what I was doing. And… that’s how I started training at the WOC.
I had a very close relationship to the product having worked with the manufacturer and as a contractor enabled me to bring a practical perspective to these trainings - offering insights beyond the typical step-by-step instructions.
